Welcome to Millhouse Primary School

A small school with a big heart

Our dedicated team of staff and governors are committed to ensuring that we are a completely inclusive school and that all of our students achieve their potential in a stimulating, caring and happy learning environment.

“Good and sometimes outstanding teaching motivates pupils to do their best. Teachers, skilfully supported by well trained and experienced support staff, establish a purposeful atmosphere in lessons.”
Ofsted, 2013

First opened in 1878, Millhouse primary School offers a 21st century, learning environment where children can utilise modern technologies, the ICT suite and library areas. We as a school continue to grow and develop to ensure we meet the needs and expectations of our children and in recent years this has included modern additions, extensions and refurbishments.

“The school is a safe and harmonious community where pupils’ behaviour is consistently good. They enjoy all this improving the school has to offer”.
